BMS Foundation is a not-for-profit organization which empowers children with special needs to succeed in every facet of life. It is dedicated to recognizing and understanding children with special needs in order to identify the appropriate early interventions needed to turn their lives around for the better.

Children with special needs may have a broad range of challenges which include developmental or congenital defects, learning disabilities, psychiatric conditions, or medical mishaps. These challenges may last a lifetime, prompting the need for lifetime support and care in dealing with the day-to-day issues of social, academic and emotional needs. Nevertheless it is important to note that children with special needs also have specialised skills particularly around pattern recognition that are uncommon in the general population. The skills when nurtured can add significant value to the economy.
